Leadership & Team Development

This program defines the processes or behaviors used by leaders to motivate or influence followers.  Transformational leaders influence followers by serving as a teacher, mentor and coach.  Transformational leaders nurture an organizational culture by giving attention to priorities and concerns, maturely reacting to crisis situations, role modeling, wise allocation of rewards, and by defining the criteria for success.   Success comes from the top, but leaders are needed at every level. It will help you identify and develop your leadership style, so that you can realize your own leadership potential and inspire by example.  The program includes project work where participants apply their learning by developing a personal action plan related to their own organizations. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to get hands-on practice and receive instruction through a mix of face-to-face in-class learning activities supplemented by self-paced online Micro-lessons.

The objective of this transformational leadership program is to give leaders and other key personnel the tools to get quality. reliability and performance.  The focus is on learning to do preventative maintenance on human systems in order to improve performance, and to preclude the need of third party intervention.

This comprehensive professional training program addresses systematic attention to three critical areas. The first step is to identify the competencies that leaders must have to perform at a high level on the job. The second step is to administer training programs that are designed to help leaders acquire and/or further develop the critical competencies. The third step is to develop strategies to ensure that the acquired competencies are applied in the work setting; that the skills supervisors learn are used effectively on an everyday basis.
